About Us
The Apology Project, was founded by Joe Baker, a convicted felon in TN.
Joe has been incarcerated for 20+ years for Murder & Armed Robbery. While incarcerated he has worked as an office clerk, teachers aide, and currently as a Prison Chaplain Aide. He is currently taking correspondence courses through Ashworth University, where he will soon receive his Associates Degree in Business Management.
Joe set out on a journey to find a responsible, respectable, and non-intrusive way to apologize to the victims of his crimes. What he found were roadblocks that discouraged or prevented him from doing so. It occurred to him to create a website that would allow him and other inmates to apologize to the victims of their crimes.
Joe will use 10% of his proceeds made from this endeavor to establish a trust fund account for the victims of his crimes.

It is not the intention of Joe Baker to re-victimize his victims or any other victims of crime. Rather, it is his intentions to nurture a path of reconciliation, rehabilitation, and restitution.
